In 2009 the US Mint produced a quarter dollar coin with the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico on one side of the coin. This beautiful coin features the theme Isla del Encanto ("Isle of Enchantment") and a sentry box (bartizan) from an old San Juan Fortress. It also features the elegant flor de maga which is the national flower of Puerto Rico.
Due to the nature of coins changing luster with elements of air and moisture, to keep these coins looking shiny, they have been cleaned, polished, and coated with a jewelry grade protectant so they will not oxidize/tarnish.
- Gently wipe your jewelry with the free jewelry cloth received with your order to remove debris, sweat, or chemicals from the surface. Our jewelry cloths are a great way to polish and keep your jewelry shiny.
- Please try not to wear the jewelry while doing housework, working out, bathing or swimming.
- When not wearing, please place it in the velvet pouch received with your order to avoid long-term exposure to the sun and air. This will slow down the oxidation rate of the jewelry and color retention time longer.
